Shobha Gosa, Intercultural Pioneer Minister

Shobha began her role as an Intercultural Pioneer Minister in October 2021. She holds a postgraduate degree from Oxford Brookes University. Prior to this position, she worked at Hope Unlimited Church in Hyderabad, South India, as an Associate Pastor alongside her husband, Michael Ravuri. Shobha enjoys welcoming new families and students who are making Leicester their home.

Her pioneering work involves engaging a diverse group of young adults and families from Global Majority Heritage (GMH) and United Kingdom Minority Ethnic (UKME) backgrounds. She aims to promote the vision of an intercultural worshiping community that embraces, welcomes, and equips individuals to be part of the Gods kingdom.  She loves gardening, dance and music.

  • It was a pretty great way to enjoy Christmas if you have nothing to do and bored during the break, which I was. Give it a try, you might just find a new friend or two”

It’s really awesome as I met new people and was my first Christmas Party that I have ever attended! Michael and Shobha were very friendly to me and it meant a lot. We played games, wished with greeting cards, got gifts, exchanged gifts -all which was thoroughly enjoyed
