About Martyrs Church:
Martyrs Church (https://martyrs.org.uk) is an evangelical Anglican church located just off Narborough Road in Leicester’s West end. Here you will find people from many cultures, age groups and backgrounds. As a church we seek to encourage and support one another in our faith journeys and in demonstrating the good news of Jesus to those around us. We are passionate about the fact that God loves every human being and together we try our best to share this love in and around our community, especially through social action and justice issues. About the role:
This internship lasts for 10 month, September 2023 – July 2024. We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, is keen to grow and develop their faith, and for someone who likes a challenge! The Intern will work closely with our Pioneer Minister and the wider IWC team doing evangelism and pioneering work, youth and student ministry, involvement in prayer ministry and worship, engage in outreach via social media, schools work, as well as receiving ongoing training, pastoral care and personal development. Our desire is that this internship would provide an opportunity of learning and growing and to further discover God’s calling on your life. As part of the internship programme, you will be living with members of our church congregation.
