Friday Lent Prayers

Lent this year runs from 18th February until 2nd April. During these 6 weeks we are
planning to gather in our church hall for ½ hour of prayer Friday mornings, 10 – 10.30am. Josh will lead on Fridays, following the Morning and Evening Prayers in the Book of
Common Prayer.

A number of people at the Martyrs are also planning to fast regularly throughout Lent. If
you are interested in taking part and, if fairly new to fasting, and would like to find out
how best to go about it, please pick up some ‘top tips’ information at church over the
next few Sundays.
