Craft group is a small, fun group of crafters who bring and share crafts, fun, ideas and skills. We sometimes make crafts for special occasions in church such as banners for the railings outside church. One year in the Christmas Eve crib service each child took home a knitted sheep, another year, a knitted candle. This year we taught ourselves how to do beading and each child took home a bead present.
Some of the members create gifts for charities such as clothes for the premature baby unit or teddies for the Contact centre.
We meet at the Vicarage currently and welcome anyone of any skill level who wants to craft with us. You may want to learn a new craft or share ones you already do. You may just need the time and motivation to finish one of those projects that’s been ongoing for some time….
We occasionally have people demonstrate new crafts for us all to learn.
There’s cake and coffee/tea and friendship for free (donation towards costs only) and you are very welcome.

We are now planning the LENT railings craft extravaganza. Please come and share your ideas!
Other craft sessions this year will include paperback sculpture folding and Christmas heart making, Christmas Banner making and other seasonal activities.
We are always happy to receive donations of material and wool and whatever for crafting.
